Currently teams play in the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL) and the Virginia Soccer League, Inc (VSLI). Teams also participate in many of the top tournaments throughout Virginia.

Younger aged group teams are made up of players from Albemarle and surrounding counties. Older (high school aged) teams are currently made up of varsity and junior varsity soccer players from Albemarle, Charlottesville, Monticello, Madison, and Western Albemarle High Schools. Tryouts are held on an "as needed" basis depending on the number of available roster spots for each team.

At MonU, we offer flexibility in several areas of interest. Parents, players, and coaches work together to decide many of the team goals. For example, some teams go to one tournament a season, while others go to as many as four. There are no mandatory numbers set up by a group of administrators. We do not believe that one course of action is best for every team in our club. We recognize that all teams are not at the same level and thus have different goals, and we will support and help each team find the best path to achieving those goals.
